Season is a coming – it’s a busy first October weekend.

• Friday, enjoy the cooler weather at the Miami Seaquarium, Metrozoo or Jungle Island and enjoy adult & kid-sized discounts courtesy of the city-wide Everyone’s a Kid in October promotion. Select attractions are offering admission discounts throughout the month. Come nightfall, bring the kiddos to the Miami Science Museum for Fabulous First Friday featuring a planetarium star show, interactive science lecture, snacks and more. Or, head to the Gables for Gallery Night and browse galleries, nibble on wine & cheese and enjoy live music.
• Saturday, hop in the car and head north to the Broward Center for the Performing Arts for 90-minutes of toddler heaven at Sesame Street Live: Elmo’s Green Thumb. Elmo, Zoe, Telly and friends explore Big Bird’s garden 7 learn about patience, overcoming fears and more. Come sunset, enjoy more outdoor art fun at the monthly Coconut Grove Arts Stroll. Entertain the family with food, drink, music, dance & kids activities from 7-11pm.
• Sunday it’s all about bikes as the city celebrates Bike Miami Day. Bring the whole family downtown between 9am and 4pm for free bike rentals, live music, bike valet services, yoga, face-painting, arts, crafts & more.
