It’s looking like a sweaty, steamy weekend – two words: indoor activities.

• Friday night, kick off the weekend with a family visit to Jack & the  Beanstalk at the Coral Gables Youth Center. Jack, the dancing cow and the magic bean seller will all be standing by to entertain. Tickets $18-$20 at the door, call 305-274-3595 for details.
• Saturday get artsy at Miami Art Museum’s monthly second Saturday. You and the kids will enjoy wandering the air conditioned exhibits and creating your own artwork to take home. Alternately, head to the Arsht Center for Marionetas de la Esquina, a puppet & storytelling show by a Mexican performance troupe. Recommended for kids 3-8, the show explores a story of two friends who bond over a fear of the dark.
• Looking for a little adult-centric fun? Head to the Gables Friday, Saturday or Sunday from 11am through 2am for Oktoberfest at Fritz & Franz. Think beer, bratwurst, live music, jodeling contests and more. Kids will love running around the outdoor spaces, adults will appreciate the gigantic frosty beers.
• Sunday bid an official farewell to Clifford as he and his friends leave the Miami Children’s Museum for the next stop on their tour. Enjoy games, crafts and one last opportunity to frolic with the giant puppy.
