It’s looking like a festive three days as President’s Day rolls into town for a bonus Monday off…
- Saturday through Monday, head to the Grove for the 47th Annual Coconut Grove Arts Festival. Browse or shop work from over 330 artists, mingle with chefs at the Culinary Pavilion, listen to live music and/or treat the kids to cotton candy, arepas and more.
- Saturday night book a sitter and head to the Design District and Wynwood for artist mingling, gallery browsing and crowd surfing at the monthly Art & Design night. Come early or stay late and add dinner to the agenda – we’re particularly fond of Mandolin Aegean Bistro for cozy Greek, Michael’s Genuine for classic American (and a scene) and Sra Martinez for tapas & some of the best cocktails in town.
- Set sail Sunday and/or Monday and venture to the Miami International Boat Show. Navigate new models at the Miami Beach Convention Center or head outside for gawking and gazing at the Grove’s Sea Isle Marina & Yachting Center. Kids can visit with SpongeBob, check out sailboats and ride on water taxis while adults will enjoy interactive seminars, boating centers and more.
