Three days, three special events – hit the ground running…

  • Tonight is all about tennis. And by tennis we mean cocktails and conversation on Key Biscayne. The annual tournament is in full swing – book a sitter, grab the hubby and head for the grandstands. The big secret about the Sony Ericsson – unless you’re a huge tennis fan, the best action is outside the stadium – nosh on sushi & sandwiches, sip a flute of Veuve Clicquot and grab a seat for prime people watching.
  • Saturday is prime time to make a family outing to the Fair. Over 100 rides, 50,00 student expos, 50 games and thousands of calories await. It’ll be packed with crowds, but the forecast is 80 and sunny – a perfect day to spend roller coastering and munching on cotton candy.
  • Sunday try something new and head South for Deering Estate’s annual Seafood Festival. The seven-hour celebration of all thing seafood is a fish lovers delight – think appetite for blue crabs, lobster, sushi, oysters and shrimp. Kids will love pontoon boat rides and playing in the Li’l Shrimp Kids Zone while parents can enjoy cooking demos, art exhibits and live music from the Bay Roots Reggae Band.
